  • my son was born at 30 weeks wieghing in at a whopping 1 lbs 15 oz!! he is now 3 mos old today 3 weeks adjusted! he is doing wonderfully he is now 7 lbs 4 oz still has an ng tube but doing great able to finish 85% of his bottles now which is amazing thank you for your support!

  • Ezra James was born at 25 weeks due to placental abruption that started at 11 weeks. He is now 20 months old and doing great. He has chronic asthma, and he gets sick a lot, but other than that he is growing big and doing pretty well. We are working with him on ASL, and he can say just a couple of words. We are so proud.

  • My little guy was 28 weeks IUGR 1lb 5oz. He is now almost 11 months and doing great! He is still tiny but so strong.

  • My daughter was born 7-1-11 @ 29w 4d weighing 1lb 11oz and barley 12” long. She spent 58 days in the NICU and is wonderfully perfect today, no problems we have found. She grew out of her torticollis and her ROP doesnt need surgery or glasses. She will just be a petite girl.

  • My son was born on March 6, 2010 at 27 weeks weighing 1lb 13ozs. He spent 75 days in the NICU and transitional hospital. He just turned 3 and doing better than anyone could have dreamed of. He is full of life. Talks up a storm and is starting hockey lessons in 2 weeks.

  • My daughter was exactly 3 months early at 26 weeks.. we spent 4 months in the hospital. Had breathing problems and came home on o2 and monitors. Now 3 years later she has a clean bill of health! All drs we’ve seen don’t have any concerns. πŸ™‚ I couldn’t be happier. πŸ™‚

  • Our little miracle man was born at 14 weeks early, born at 26 weeks. He is now 18 months old and 16lbs. He has struggled but has finally learned to crawl, has just started pulling himself up to standing, and says Dadadada. We recently found out he has a recessive genetic disorder called Fanconi Anemia the life expectancy is 20-30 years old with many complications he also suffers from CP, we are still getting over the shock of his diagnosis but we feel very blessed to have him in our lives.

  • My daughter was 1lb 8oz at birth. Today she is 64lbs and i couldnt be happier. I live in fear, though, everyday that she will have a seizure, someone will say something ugly to her beacuse she is intelectually disabled, or that she will get sick. She needs educational material to help facilitate her learning. This extra help will allow us to get this, as well as the pediasure she needs for nutrition. Thank you for youir website and support.

  • My Preemie was born at 26 weeks and is now 2. She is doing great!! She is finally making progress with her speech and has become a sassy but funny little girl.

  • my first preemie was born at 34 weeks and weighed 4 lbs 10 oz, she is now 3 and 1/2 and doing awesome.She stayed in the hospital for 7 days. She is definatly a blessing and a handful. She didn’t have any delays or issues other than reflux. My other preemie was born at 31 weeks and weighed 3 lbs 4 oz and is now 20 months old. She spent 6 weeks in the NICU and kept having problems with her stomach. They thought it was nec but she was allergic to the HMF they were giving her to get more calories. She has had texture issues with eating and has speech and fod therapy. She had poor muscle tone and has finally gotten better with that and strengthened her muscles.We have to watch everyone who is around her being she gets sick at the drop of a hat. she is doing good now other than she is allergic to everything and had a few delays. She is still a blessing to me too.

  • My son Jack was born at 28 weeks due to severe preeclampsia. He spent 112 days in the NICU and came home with an NG tube and on O2. He is now 2.5 yrs old and a super, super happy little boy! He does still have BPD/CLD and reflux, along with OT, PT, and Speech every other week.

  • My daughter was born @24wks 1lb5oz. She is now 14mo 10 corrected and doing very well. She is crawling and pulling herself up . She is so happy despite all she has been through.

  • My twins were born at 24W6D. Our youngest twin passed away 11 days after they were born we love her and miss her and think about her every day. Our surviving twin was in the NICU for 152 days came home on a heart and apnea monitor, reflux meds and a multivitamin with iron. Now she is 15 months old and turns 1 year adjusted this month!!! She is off the monitor and all of her medication and has no developmental delays whatsoever! We are so very proud of her and love her so much!! She is our little miracle!!

  • Jaxen was a 29 weeker. He came early due to severe pre-e/HELLP. He had a few struggles but is a mostly healthy 21 month old. He has met all of his milestones but has some sensory issues when eating and some speaking difficulties. He has severe reflux and asthma.

  • My daughter Alexis was born at 26 weeks 2 days, weighing 1Lb. 7oz. Today, at 3.5 years old, she weighs 26 Lbs and is practically perfect in every way! We’ve battled our preemie issues along the way, but they have made her, and really, all of us, so much stronger! We <3 our preemie!

  • My daughter was born at 28 weeks weighing 1lb 12 oz. She spent 169 days in the NICU and is a NEC survivor. She just celebrated her 2nd birthday and is doing amazing. She weights 21lbs currently and loves to eat! We love to hear to talk everyday as we never know what silly things she is going to say. We are so blessed as we couldn’t imagine our life without her!

  • Jonah Rule Dobson was born at 28 weeks and 2 days – I was diagnosed with preeclampsia at 27 weeks & had to be induced… Scariest time of my life! Jonah was born and weighed 1 lb 14 oz & was just 13 inches long. He spent 98 long days in UW Medical Center’s NICU in Seattle, who we’ll be forever grateful to. He is our little miracle baby and is now 17 months old & amazing us every single day.

  • My son Ezekiel was born at 30 weeks, weighing 3lbs, spent 2 months in the nicu and is now 22 mo and weighs 21 lbs and just learned to walk! He’s still got a few obstacles to overcome but he’s doing great and is my Lil miracle!

  • my Peanut was born 5 weeks early at 35 weeks. he is now 2.5 years old and thriving! he keeps me on my toes everyday!

  • my son was born at 32w1d at 3lbs 7oz due to severe pre-e. he is now almost 2 with a silly sense of humor and a huge vocabulary. for how dependent he was when he was born, his independence now amazes me!! I <3 my preemie!

  • Our preemie was born at 33 weeks and he was 4 lbs 1 oz at birth. He is now going to be 3 next week and is doing great. We are transitioning from Early Intervention to the pre-school here and I am looking forward to all the services my son will get to help with catching up.

  • My sweet little Emily Ann was born on Thanksgiving day at 29 weeks. I thank God everyday that I have my little miracle!

  • My identical girls were 35 weekers. They are now 2 year old and are completely caught up developmentally and one has completely caught up on growth (55th percentile!) and the other one is just a bit smaller (29th percentile).

  • Former 28 weeker twin boys. Twin A was 3 lb 4 oz, currently 9 months – 17 lb 14 oz, crawling, rolling, sitting – amazing! Twin B was 1 lb 14 oz, in the NICU for 143 days, 6 surgeries so far, trying to sit up on his own…such a fighter!

  • Our daughter was born at 29 weeks. She is now 3 years old, in preschool and doing pretty good! She is in process of getting evaluations for Occupational Therapy and an evaluation for possible Autism. She is such a bright little girl! I couldn’t imagine my life without her! <3

  • My triplets were born at 28 weeks. My Bea passed away at two days old due to complications of a CDH, prematurity, and other problems. She is missed all the time. Her sisters Lucy and Millie are now 16 months, small and a little delayed, but mostly great! They are all my miracles!

  • My son was born at 32 weeks 1 day and weighed only 2 lbs. 8.1 oz. After spending 27 days in the NICU we brought him home. He is now 2 1/2 and is doing wonderfully!

  • miss savvy sue was born at 29 weeks, she will be actual age 1, in april. she is crawling and pulling up on stuff, eating solids, getting teeth and thriving, she is my 4th and only preemie having to do nicu time. deity was born at 34-35 wksw but needed no intervention. god bless all nicu moms &dads

  • My son was born at 26 weeks weighing 1 lb 15 oz and is now 2.5 years old. He is doing great except for aspiration- he has been on thickened liquids for over a year now. We are so blessed for how far he has come!

  • My oldest son was born at 33 weeks and spent 43 days in the nicu. He currently has problems with his eyes (strabismus and severe astigmatism), speech and eating problems, he has a suspected seizure disorder, hearing/ear problems, he has SPD and has asthma. But he is such a happy vibrant 2 year old i hear all the time how he acts so happy for a child who has been through so much. My youngest was a 35 weeker who required no nicu time but did have feeding problems and is not hearing well. Now at 2 months old he has feeding problems, reflux, weight gain issues and hearing problems but i am so thankful for how well he is doing knowing things could be worse πŸ™‚ I love both my preemies

  • My twin boys were born at 32 weeks and 4 days. They spent 1 week in the NICU and 5 weeks in the SCN. They will be 3 in July and are doing wonderful!

  • My trio was born at 28 weeks…they are 22 months and thriving…our biggest obstacles are wright gain and lung disease. We are so proud of what they’ve overcome!

  • my oldest was my first child and she was born at 32 weeks. she was in the NICU for 2 weeks and is doing fairly well i’d say! she will be 3 near the end of April and is a little behind in launguage/talking but i’d say its expected. my youngest was born at 35 weeks and came home with me, she spent no days in the NICU and all her days in my recovery room!

  • My son was a 34 weeker born March 4, 2011. He just turned 2 and is amazing!! 49% for weight and 70% for height!!!!!! He has been hitting all milestones so far!

  • My son was born July 13 2011 at 28 weeks. He weighed 1 pound 6 oz, we spent a little over 8 months in the hospital. He has a Trach and a g tube, but is doing amazing now that we are home. He is just a very happy little guy!

  • My twin boys were born at 24 weeks exactly. I had them Dec 29th and my due date was April 20th. They were 1lb 0.9 oz and 1lb2.7oz. There have been many struggles so far, P.I.E, grade 2 ROP to date, heart surgery for P.D.A, and infections. I still feel extreamly blessed no matter how hard it has been. They are still vented and one is still on the oscillator. But we hit 3lb!

  • My son was a 34 weeker. He had a case of NEC was only 3lbs at birth but he’s 15 months and while smaller than most he’s doing great!

  • My lil man was 7.5 weeks early and is doing great at 4.5 months old!

  • My daughter was born at 29 weeks , weighing 1lb 8oz. She is currently extremly nderweight, but other than that is doing well.

  • My son was born at 34 weeks on Sept 29, 2012. He is now 16lbs and doing wonderfully! He has a diagnosis of CP but is the toughest guy I know! Thank you to OU Medical Children’s Hosptial!

  • My twins were born at 29 weeks. Spent two days shy of 5 months. It’s been a struggle but are completely worth it.

  • My DD was born at 36 weeks with respiratory issues and jaundice. She’s now 5 and (mostly) healthy and only has a few delays.

  • My boys, Christian (1lb15oz) and Landon (2lb3oz) were born at 27 weeks. Christian spent 6.5 months in the NICU and Landon spent 11 weeks! They are now happy healthy 2 year olds!

  • 34weeker, 2+years old now. Healthy and most people have not idea he’s a preemie anymore. Took until about a year and a half to reach that stage with him. Another one on the way, at 30 weeks now, and getting anxious, trying to get to the 36 week mark.

  • My preemie was born 31w5d, just this last Thursday!! He is doing alright, still intubated, but they’re hoping to transfer to cpap in the next few days. He is very agitated, and needs to get his breathing regulated, but doing as well as a boy who came 8.5 weeks early with a VERY traumatic birth can be expected to do!
