North East Photographers (MA, MD, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA)

**WINNERS ARE POSTED BELOW BY PHOTOGRAPHER!**

Last year was our first For the Love of Preemies, and I was amazed at all the photographrs that stepped up to the plate, and am again overwhelmed this year!!   Keri Meyers Photography helped put the word out that I was looking for a few photographers to donate a session, or a gift certificate or anything to spread some cheer to preemie families across the nation.  I know we were blessed with amazing insurance to cover ongoing medical costs, but not everybody is so lucky and as you know, professional photography can be costly!

The response was overwhelming…and so many across the US, Canada and even a photographer in New Zealand have donated time, waived session fees or an entire package again this year!

If you know a preemie family in an area with photographers, please let them know about this giveaway…don’t let the generosity of the photographers go to waste!!  And my one caveat, other than Keri Meyers Photography, I have never used any of these photographers but can tell you I LOVED looking at all the fantastic pictures on them!!

TO ENTER:  First and foremost…YOU MUST BE A FAMILY WITH A PREEMIE…they don’t have to be newborn, but they had to be a preemie.  Then just click on the Rafflecopter entry below!  You can check out who is in your area first by the listing below but you MUST like their Facebook page if you want to win. 😉

  • I love this, pretty neat! Good luck everyone!

  • My micropreemie ex 26 weeker is a wonderful one year old lovebug. After we lost his twin at 19 weeks, we thought we’d never have the chance to meet him. He brings so much joy and love to our lives! Thank you for the opportunity to enter these giveaways! Your work with preemies is amazing.

  • When I look back, my preemie was super lucky! He was barely a preemie at all! But at 35 weeks, he was born naturally but stuggled with his premature lungs. We were so fortunate to only spend 9 days in the Nicu, but it also gave me so much insight, repect, love and compassion for so many others! To watch an infant struggle for each breath is heatbreaking! When they wisked my son from our hospital to a nearby Nicu, we were lucky to have the abilities to be with him daily! So many others cannot! Lives must go on, and some babies spend what feels like an eternity fighting for their lives! But what amazing miracles we get in each of these beautiful little fighters! My little guy is 15 months old now! Walking, talking, and witnout his little scar, you would never know he fought so hard to stay with us 🙂

  • After years of infertility and 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, I was blessed to discover I was pregnant with Dillon. At 24 weeks I discovered that I has pre-eclamsia and was placed on hospital bedrest. The goal was to make it until 32 weeks with keeping my blood pressure in control.
I amazed doctors when I made it until 32 weeks and even further until 34 weeks. At 34 weeks my water broke and I went into labor. Dillon was born a few hours later with his cord wrapped around his neck and not breathing.
He had low Apgar scores and needed oxygen. He spent 3 weeks in NICU and is a blessing, a miracle and a fighter. He is two years old now and amazes me every day.
After reading stories of other NICU survivors, I feel very blessed that our time in NICU was short and I did get to bring my little guy home.

  • My daughter was born @ 22 weeks, her twin brother at 24 weeks. I don’t remember holding her. I don’t really remember the agonizing days of possibly losing her brother. But he was a fighter, spent 5 1/2 months in the NICU and came home with a feeding tube and oxygen and tons of meds. Now he is 3 years old and has a little brother who is now 8 months. Pregnancy is so fragile, as is life.

  • Ava was born at 34 weeks in August. She is almost 6 months now!

  • My son was born at 35 weeks in December 2010. He came due to severe/sudden pre e and was 3 lbs 9 oz at birth. He is currently 14 months about 18-19 lbs and talking up a storm, getting more and more brave to let go of the furniture to walk on his own.

  • I have preemie twin born at 28wks, but I am entering for my sister who is about to turn 18. She was one of triplets (only 2 surviving), and I would like for her to have pro. pictures as her graduation gift! Thanks for the opportunity!

  • My preemie was born on August 26th 2010 at 26 weeks. She was 1lb 4oz. After 110 days in the NICU she finally got to come home and has been doing relly well since then. She still has some minor health issues, but we’re so blessed with how far she’s come! 🙂 Sometimes it’s hard to believe she was ever that small…she has a BIG personality 🙂

  • My micro preemie was born at 26 weeks. I was pregnant with twin boys and had placenta previa. At 21 weeks I started to hemorrhage and went into preterm labor. I was admitted to the hospital for 5 weeks on magnesium. I was in hospital bed rest. I had 11 blood transfusions and 1 Iron infusion On July 1, 2011 Twin B Caleb’s water broke and he died within a few minutes. Ethan survived and weighed 1lb 14oz lost weight to 1lb 7ozs 13.5 inches. He had stage 3 ROP and had laser eye surgery on both eyes. Ethan spent 75 days in the NICU. He went home at 4lbs 3ozs. He is now a happy giggly 7month old 15lbs baby.

  • Hello! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing a few
months of hard work due to no backup. Do you have
    any solutions to prevent hackers?
