Brooke C – Charming Jewelry necklace of your choice!

Peek-a-boo ICU was created and is run by a NICU nurse, who we have all grown to love!  She has created AMAZING NICU Journey bead necklaces and braclets that let you wear, and tell your story!  The Journey Beads, and Bracelets collection was created as a way to commemorate the time spent in the NICU- to recognize the emotions, remember the milestones, and reflect on the trials and triumphs that make your story your very own.  Peek-a-boo ICU will be donating a $50 gift certificate for our 2nd Annual “For the Love of Preemies” giveaway!  Isn’t it time you told your story through jewelry?

Charming Jewelry is offering a selected winner the necklace of your choosing!  And during the giveaway, you can receive 10% off any online order by using 10prcnt as the code!  Her necklaces are beautiful and fully customizeable!  Love that you can wear your sweet ones names around your neck!

Hand Stamping is the art of having a metal rod with a letter at the end and hammering each letter. It will not always be center & straight. That is the beauty of my products.
The products are made of Stainless Steel and are hand stamped. Each one is unique and custom made just for you! They make a great birthday, anniversary, baby shower, wedding shower, christmas, valentines day gift!!!
Stain…less steel is a great alternative to sterling silver. It is very affordable and it is strong, durable, and does not easily bend.  It will not tarnish, rust or change color.  Stainless steel is very affordable & quality that is trusted by luxury watchmakers

When they went to cut the scar tissue so I would dialate, they broke my water. My little girl went into fetal distress. I went into emergenct c-section. My baby was “not alive” when she was born. Givin where I was and the NICU on stand by in th OR, my baby was resusitated back to life. She spent 2 hours in the NICU for observation. Sence then, she has been a happy, healthy little girl!

  • my preemie was 27 weeks 5 days when he was born in 2009. The MOD statistic of 1 in 8 was EXACTLY true for my family at the time he was born.

  • I have boy girl twins that were born at 34 weeks and spent 22 days in the NICU. They are now happy growing two year olds, with only a few ongoing medical issues 🙂

  • I have had both a micro premie and a premie. My micro premie was born at 23 weeks and weighed 1lb 1oz and my premie was born at 31 weeks and weighed 3lbs 6ozs. Both of my girls were in the NICU. I has saver pre eclamsia with both. My micro premie staied in the NICU for 114 days and my premie was in the NICU for 31 days. Never did I exspected to have children in the NICU, but then again who does. Somethings I gained on my NICU exsperience was knowledge how to care and love a premie properly, how to deal with intence situations, and made a bunch of friends along the way. My first daughter shure taught me how to relie on God like never before, she had to go through a PDA surgery not even a month old yet then an eye surgery by 4 months old. My micro premie is now 2 years old and health getting Physical Therepy and Developmental Therepy. Some issues have came up but all I can do everyday is watch both my girls grow and develop into what God wants them to be and everyday I thank God for having both of them and him letting them survive there journey.

  • Owen was born at 26.4 weeks. He spent 84 days in the NICU and was discharged on Valentine’s Day two weeks ago. We are still getting used to being home and at times miss the 24-hour babysitters (the nurses). To have a bracelet like this to tell the story of all the struggles we went through would be amazing.

  • My twin micro-preemies were born on june 13, 2010 they weighed 1lb 10 oz and 1lb 8 oz… I was 25.6 weeks pregnant and went into labor there still is not an explanation of why. They spent 109 days in the nicu. It is a pure miracle that they are as healthy as they are. I thank God everyday and pray for each and everyone of you. Being a preemie mom is tough. you have to have faith everyday and never give up. The hardest thing in the world is to be a mother and have to leave your babies in the hospital and not be able to be with them. I was lucky they didn’t have to stay longer than they did… I work at a doctors office and have tried to help all my preemie moms that come in the office with the same situations I dealt with. It’s not easy… but God gave us the strength to make it through a rough situation. I had a team of wonderful angels in the nicu! I would like to have this braclette so that when i look down I can remember just how hard my children fought and I will never forget that for the rest of my life. I have a group on facebook I started called parents of preemies it’s to encourage people who have been where we are can hear stories get encouragement and advice. God bless
