  • My daughter was born at 28 weeks weighing only 1 lb 12 oz. After only a week of life she under went surgery where she lost about 10 inches of her small intestines and wore and ostomy bag for about three months. She did have her reconnection surgery and went home after 3 months in the NICU. She is now a feisty 19 month old and thriving.

  • would love to win this, your shirts are the best. we use to get alot of questions about why she had oxygen now that, that is done we have a helmet we get lots of stares about that. We are in the market for a cute onsie that lets ppl now jsut because she has a helmet doesnt mean anything. I am extremely greatful to have found your facebook page, and I very much look forward to good news Mondays. Caroline was a 25 weeker she is now 1 and extremely curious about the world around her.

    • Kira, Spencer wore a helmet for quite some time also and I did one that said “Stunt double in training” but would be happy to do something for her!! <3

    • My 35 weeker also had helmet therapy for almost 8 months. It seemed like forever at the time, but it is WORTH it! Her head looks great – even better her eyes and ears are symetrical. Hang in there!

  • I love It’s a Preemie Thing. I love that it’s an open environment where I can go and ask fellow preemie parents questions. I love all of the great shirts as well. Definitely want to order some for my preemie princesses! I’ve had a 26 weeker, a 36 weeker, and a 26 week, 3 days preemie. A lot of my friends and family don’t understand the issues we’ve faced and have resorted to saying “It’s a preemie thing” 😀

  • I have 3 Preemies. having them and dealing with all the sickness is tough but I love being a mommy and I will do what I have to do to take care of them. I love my babies. Leaving them for so long is hard also.

  • My son is a 35 weeker who was born December 2010 at 3 lbs 9 oz. He is now about 18/19 lbs and a very active 14 month old toddler! He talks, dances and is getting very brave and about to let go of the furniture and walk on his own

  • We have 2 preemies in our home our daughter Meghan was 3lbs 14 ozs and spent 3 weeks in the NIcu and our son was 2lbs and spent just under 80 days in the NICU

  • My little man was born at 25weeks 2days on the 19 of march 2011 weighing 1p 7, all up he’s spent 8months out of 11months in hospital due to adenovirus, piv3, RSV and whooping cough but now he’s a happy healthy 11month old and the rollercoaster ride is slowly coming to an end 🙂

  • My Twin Girls were born at 24Weeks6Days on December 6th because I had an incompetent cervix. 11 Days later on December 17 my sweet angel Courtney couldn’t fight any longer and went to be in heaven. The hardest thing that I have ever lived through in my life and it still hurts every day. But, here we are at 78 days in the NICU, 11 Weeks old and 3lb13oz with her twin sister Mackenzie. We thank god every day for her and I don’t know what I would do without her. Last week we found out that Kenzie has ROP(Retinopathy of Prematurity) in both of her eyes. She might have to have surgery to correct it before she can come home. Definitely a roller coaster! She is almost in a crib only has 70 more grams to go and had her first bottle the other day! It feels like we are finally in the home stretch! Can’t wait to have this baby at home with me 🙂

There are so many things I would love to give him. but being a non working mom, well all I can give him is my love.

  • our babies were born 4 weeks early and they are now 2.5 years old… Our daughter has had respiratory issues and is undergoing daily breathing treatments but we are hoping she outgrows that… 🙂 but our son is as healthy as can be! 🙂 We are blessed.

  • My little man was born at 34 weeks of age due to Mama having pre-eclampsia, he spent 3 weeks in the NICU for feeding issues and jaundice. He is now 20 months old and is still tiny as can be weighing in at 19 lbs! He has multiple life threatening allergies that keep us on our toes at all times! He’s blessed our lives beyond words!
