Bracelet #1:

A new bracelet in my series of inspirational jewelry. This simple but elegant GRATITUDE bracelet is made from beautiful, thick, soft, medium brown, pebble grain leather. The leather is sectioned off by sterling silver end crimps and sterling silver bead with the word GRATITUDE. A sterling silver clasp, and sturdy sterling silver chain complete the bracelet and make for an adjustable fit. The bracelet is adjustable from 7 to 8 inches in length. and 10mm in width. A tiny sterling silver heart hangs from the end of the chain as a reminder to always keep the meaning close to your heart.

The following poem serves as the inspiration for this bracelet and comes included in the packaging.

Your life is a gift
Cherish each day
Live in the moment
Come what may

Express your GRATITUDE
Be grateful for all
You create each moment
Both big and small

Bracelet #2:

Beautiful watercolor style floral print fabric in shades of blue, purple, and red, is sewn onto black leather with 100% nylon thread. Silver plated end pieces and toggle clasp finish off bracelet. Coordinating glass and sterling silver beads, accent the bracelet near the clasp. Bracelet measures just under 8 inches in length (slightly smaller when worn due to toggle) and 1.25 inches in width

  • I just wanted to let you know, the link above to the Redd Tree store is not working, but I googled it, and was able to get to the page. But looking through the items, I would have to say my favorite item is the Gratitude bracelet.
My daughter Isabella was born @ 33 weeks @ 3lbs 4oz. She spent 3 weeks in the NICU, and is now 9mths old, and weiging in at 15lbs 4oz!

  • wow you have some talented relatives =) I LOVE the burgandy berries fabric and leather bracelet!! but a close second is that gratitude bracelet .. the poem you put with it is beautiful!
anddddd another tidbit about the little miss Adalynn! She was born 15 1/2 inches long and was the shortest baby in the NICU

and here is a link to the shop for anyone else

  • I would have to say the gratitude is my absolute favorite. But they are all beautiful! My identical twin preemie girls are almost 1 and growing like weeds!

  • I love the fabric and leather jewel tone floral bracelet!! Gorgeous!!
My son was born on January 12th at 30 weeks. My water ruptured and I was admitted to the l&d. After 2 days, his HR started to drop so the doc decided to do an emergency c-section. He was born weighing 3lbs 8ozs. He scored a 9/9 on his APGAR and has done great since! We are hoping to bring him home this week!

  • I love these, they are beautiful. The Gratitude bracelet is my favorite. My daughter was born at 24 weeks on April 3, 2010. I went into preterm labor at 23 weeks and was in the hospital till she turned 24 weeks and was born. She stayed in the NICU for 82 days and is now a healthy and happy 10 month old. She is my world, I am so proud of her and all preemies for everything they have overcome. 🙂

  • I have been a fan of IAPT for awhile now. I have ordered a few onesie from them. I am the proud mother of a feisty 27 weeker. He is 6 months old now and doing really well. My husband and I are so lucky to be his parents. I really like the Gratitude bracelet. I really liked the poem with it.

  • I like the Floral Embossed Leather or the gratitude bracelet best.

Let’s see what else can I say about my preemie? He was born at 25 weeks on Black Friday in 2009.

  • I LOVE the happy creatures bracelet! Very creative and fun! My preemie Kylie was born C-Sec on December 23rd 2009. weighing 4 lbs 15 oz. She was a very strong willed baby right from the start. Now 14 months later, she is a very active, vivacious growing baby girl with such a personality and spirit. She is still in the 15th % for her size, but she is sooo big in our hearts:))

  • Such unique bracelets, I love the leather and turquoise one!
Hi, I’m a fan of your FB page, I originally found you through Twitter. I have two preemie boys, my oldest is James born at 30ish weeks due to severe pre eclampsia who is now 11 and a half, he’s had more than his share of preemie complications that linger to this day. My youngest is Will who is 7 months and was born at 33 weeks due to a complete placental abruption and severe pre eclampsia.

  • Beautiful bracelets! I visited your site, and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the fabric and leather chocolate and cream ( my hubby has a leather bracelet, and this would match it with a feminine flair), but a VERY close second is the graditude bracelet! My little guy was a preemie, born at 2 pounds, 9 oz, and we adopted him! He truly is our little miracle, and we are full of GRADITUDE!

  • Bonus – I have shared on my facebook page about “It’s a Preemie Thing” giveaway!

  • The “gratitude” bracelet is definitely my favorite! My husband is also a military officer. We are so very fortunate that he has been home during my pregnancy, early delivery and NICU stay. Our next deployment will be early 2012…..although it will be an uphill battle I am forever grateful for my husband’s dedication and service to our country!

(I posted this same story on other give away pages, sorry if it’s a duplicate reading to some!)
Hi – I have been a fan of your facebook page for almost 3 months now. I do quite a bit of browsing but very little posting. It has been hard for me to talk about my “preemie” experience with others, as it was very traumatic and I am still trying to make sense of things. What I do know and what I can say is that I have been blessed with a miracle. My precious Zoe Love was born 11.20.10, at 28 weeks and 5 days weighing 2 pounds, 11 ounces. She spent her first week on the vent and oscillator. We were in the NICU a total of 65 long, grueling and heart wrenching days. We’ve seen it all and had all of the scares including a suspected Grade III IVH and a moderate PDA with questionable murmur. But through the power of what we believe is love and prayer all of the initial concerns have miraculously resolved themselves. Our “preemie-donna” is now a healthy 5 pounds, 4 ounces and 8 days old adjusted! The only major continuing concern we have is her reflux. We stayed an extra 10 days in the NICU because of her slow eating habits. She still has trouble with her suck, swallow, breath reflex and is still spitting up at almost every feeding. We have thickened her breast milk with so much rice cereal that her pediatrician and I joke that we are going to be spoon feeding her soon! I would love an opportunity to participate in all of your giveaways and have entered as many as possible.
I know I have not done my Love’s preemie story justice in this short synopsis. It’s hard for me to think back on my days on bed rest in the hospital and her labor and delivery without my eyes and heart swelling in sadness. One day I hope that I am as strong as she is and will be able to share her story with the world.

  • Already a fan of your page 🙂
Awesome bracelets, hard to pick a favorite, but I’d have to say the Graditude one! My husband is also military (army). We’re very lucky because he is not deployed right now, but he’s stationed far away =/ so he wasn’t here for my daughter’s NICU stay (thankfully he was able to be with us for her birth and a couple visits since then), we still miss him so much but are very thankful he is safe 🙂

  • Just put up a new status on facebook to sprad the word:

“Preemie Parents! Visit It’s a Preemie Thing’s new blog. She’s having TONS of giveaways JUST for preemies! Photography sessions accross the country, a nap nanny, baby hats, halo products and much more! And for those still on O2…busy breathers donated a backpack to the giveaway!

  • I love the gratitude bracelet and the poem that goes with it, but the Tiger Cowrie Shell is my 2nd favorite. After struggling with infertility for several yrs, we conceived our daughter. She couldnt wait to get here and was born at 26 weeks. She like most preemies has overcome several obstacles, and by the grace of God is now a healthy 5 month (2 month adjusted) old.

  • I really like the Pink Dandelion! I have b/g twins who our 29 weekers! They spent 11 weeks in the NICU. Now they are 5 months old!

  • […] Redd Tree Bracelet Giveaway […]

  • I am already a huge fan of it’s a preemie thing. and checked out redd tree page. sad to see it closing, I have to say I really like bracelet #1 something you can wear with anything.

My zozo is almost 5mo old and is just perfect to me, I love waking up to her and seeing what new thing she is going to do each day.

  • I love the gratitude bracelet– It describes my life this year. I also like the hedgehog bracelet. My older son is a hedgehog fan 🙂

  • My favorite is definitely the gratitude bracelet, but I also love the pink paisley.

Thank you for all of the wonderful giveaways you are doing for our preemie families :). It’s wonderful to have a community!

  • Mom of a 30 weeker who’ll be 7 months soon. Have never seen this bracelet but found you through it’s a preemie thing and love the gratitude bracelet 🙂

  • I was already a fan – and found you just by searching “preemie” on FB. The gratitude bracelet is my favorite. I can’t tell you how thankful I am for still being pregnant – and can’t think of a better word to describe it! My water broke at just 23 weeks and I’ve been in the hospital since….53 days and counting! My baby will be delivered at 34 weeks (if I can make it that long). It’s been a long road – but I’m just thankful that I’ve been able to remain pregnant for this long. Thanks!

  • This giveaway is now closed. Thank you to all who entered and especially to Redd Tree for making a preemie mom feel a little bit more special in our journey of raising a small miracle…or more. 😉
