  • My triplets were born at 33 weeks 5 days! The spent 9, 15 & 27 days in the NICU, I spent almsot 4 months on hospital bedrest and I would do everything all over again!

  • Posted to My First Silhouette= Sent from It’s a Preemie Thing, what a wonderful service you are offering!
My daughter Isabella was born @ 33 weeks @ 3lbs 4oz. She spent 3 weeks in the NICU, and is now 9mths old, and weiging in at 15lbs 4oz!

  • I love this idea!! What a great memory maker! :o) Once again, Eli was born at 29 weeks on Nov. 23, 2009.

Thanks for all these great giveaways! :o) I love your blog/website/store!!

  • What a neat idea, I’ve never heard of this. My little guy was born at 27 weeks (2lbs. 13oz) and just 2 days before Christmas. He is now a healthy and very happy 13 month old weighing around 20 lbs. and in excellent health. We are pregnant again with surgery scheduled for next week and tons of bed rest to follow, but I know it’s worth it!! Thanks for your site, I LOVE it!!

  • My first ultrasound images of Peter show him and his twin 7-weeks into my last pregnancy. Most adorable blobs I’ve ever seen! Unfortunately, the next ultrasound – done at 12 weeks – only showed one live fetus. I miss Peter’s twin, but I think it’s probably best that Baby A stopped developing. Even without twins, I went into labor and delivered at 27 weeks. I don’t like to imagine how early I might have gone into labor with twins.

  • I’m a fan of your FB page–since you started it, and I liked my 1st silhouette page.

I have a 29weeker, who spent 141 days in the NICU. He’s on O2, with a gtube, and turning 1 next month! I remember my first ultrasound was in the ER at 10 weeks, because I was gushing blood. There he was, just wiggling like crazy. We could even see little arms and legs. 🙂

  • My little Jaden was born on April 3rd 2010 at just 24 weeks. She spent 82 days in the NICU and is now a happy and healthy, chunky little 10 month old! 😉 She will be one soon, I can’t even believe it somedays! She has given me so much hope and faith in life, preemies truly are a blessing. 🙂

  • Already a fan of It’s a Preemie Thing (sent by another preemie family)!

  • I liked both on facebook. Oh my goodness I hope I win-I would love to see my little peanuts ultrasound up on the wall (she was only 3lbs in her last ultrasound so it would be amazing)

  • Hi, I’m a fan of your FB page, I originally found you through Twitter, what wonderful giveaways!! I have two preemie boys, my oldest is James born at 30ish weeks due to severe pre eclampsia who is now 11 and a half, he’s had more than his share of preemie complications that linger to this day. My youngest is Will who is 7 months and was born at 33 weeks due to a complete placental abruption and severe pre eclampsia.

  • These are really cool!

She only weighs 14.6lbs, but she is developing very well! She will be turning 1 on Feb 18th! Such a big girl.

  • What an amazing idea!!!!!

My daughter was born at 26 weeks, although she had an extremely rough start, she is now a thriving, fiesty little girl. She will no doubt continue to keep us on our toes, but also keep a smile on our faces in the process.

  • Hi! My little man, Ryder was born at 31w 6d. He is absolutely amazing. He has overcome so much and I could not be more happier. He is now 3 months old.

  • Tweeted about giveaway!

  • I found ‘It’s a Preemie Thing’ on facebook doing a search for ‘preemie’ while my daughter was in the NICU. I was looking for support/resources for preemies.

My daughter was born at 26 weeks weighing 1 pound 14 ounces. She spent 76 days in the NICU. She’s now four months old and getting bigger every day.

  • This would look so beautiful in Drew’s nursery. Our road to having a family was not easy. My husband and I lost our first baby, which was a girl to a placental abruption when I was 31 weeks pregnant. We waited one year to heal and then came our miracle. I delivered a preemie boy, Drew, on August 10, 2010. I had an emergency c-section due to severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. At birth Drew weighed 2 pounds 14 ounces and was 15.5 inches long. After Drew was delivered, he was taken right away to the NICU and I never got a chance to spend time with him. As days past, my conditioned worsened and I was moved to ICU and was unable to visit Drew. I count my blessings everyday to be alive and being able to love my son.Three days later, I finally was able to visit the NICU and hold him for a few minutes. Drew continued to prove everyone wrong and do well. He has been home for four month now and continues to amaze us with his progress. We feel so blessed to be a family.

  • I have boy/girl twins that were born at 34 weeks. We were lucky in that they had a fairly uneventful course in the NICU, but have had a really bumpy road since discharge that included seizures for the baby girl, drug overdose thanks to a pharmacy for baby boy, severe reflux for both, and most recently RSV and bronchopneumonia and hospital admissions for both of them.

  • Posted this on my FB wall:
Check out the Giveaway from Simply Silhouettes on the It’s a Preemie Thing fan page. Must be a preemie family to win!!

  • My daughter was born at 34 weeks due to Pre-Eclampsia, HELLP Syndrome, and IUGR after a month on hospital bedrest. She was 3lbs 13.5oz and 17.25in. She spent 25 days in the NICU and came home on caffeine and the dreaded apnea monitor which she finally kicked 3 months later 🙂 She is now a happy healthy 16 month old crazy toddler. She has mostly caught up to her actual age in weight, almost 21 lbs at 15 months. She is delayed even for her adjusted age but with the help of EI we are starting to catch up!

  • I am starting to feel like a broken record telling you about my little miracle 25 weeker but she is. I would love to get McKenzie’s 19 week ultrasound put on canvas. That was the last good ultrasound before my water broke at 22 weeks and she was born at 25 weeks. Since she was born so early and so severly sick, I didn’t get the 30+ weeks ultrasounds, 3d ultrasounds or 1st day pictures, this would mean so much. I

  • I have been a fan for a while. My son was born at 29 weeks after my water started leaking at 25 weeks. I was unable to see my son ultra sounds after 20 weeks so this ultra sound is extra special to me.

  • * Liked both FB pages!
    * Posted on my blog and shared on FB!
    * My preemie is 8 month old Aiden. He was born 12 weeks early due to placental abrubtion. He spent 2 months in the NICU. He was also born with a cleft lip and palate. He had a partial nose/ lip repair this past November. His next surgery is scheduled for May, with another following in the Fall of this year! My litle man has been through so much and still has a LONG road ahead of him. But he is a trooper and mommy’s little hero!!

  • Am a fan on FB. I have identical twin girls who were preemies, born at 32 weeks. They are both now 8 months old, and are doing great.

  • We tried so very hard to get pregnant, and when I finally did, I had a great pregnancy, until I developed pre eclampsia. I remember the last ultrasound I got before he was delivered. What peace it brought me to see him safe on that screen. Would love to preserve that forever!

  • Our journey started when my then 17 year old sister was about 8 weeks pregnant with her 2nd child and her boyfriend and his family were trying to convince her to have an abortion. I spent many nights on the phone with her begging her to keep the baby and either allow my husband and I to adopt her or to choose another couple. I remember being so happy when she reached the point where she couldn’t legally have an abortion. She did end up finding another couple but luckily for me things didn’t work out with them and she chose us. I will never forget that special phone call at 7 am. Our little princess was born at not quite 37 weeks. She was 5lbs 14 3/4 oz and was 18 in. long. She was born via c-section without any complications. We actually named her after my sister whose name is Victoria Lynn but I have always called her Tori Lori Lynn. I played with it a little and came up with Laralyn Grace I thought Grace was fitting because she truly is a blessing. We brought her home when she was 2 days old which just so happened to be my birthday. She is still a little peanut and it wasn’t till she was about 9 months old that she finally made it onto the growth charts and that was only due to her gaining weight from being on prednisone due to some lung issues. She was diagnosed as having silent reflux when she was only a few weeks old but recently we saw a pulmonary specialist and he actually thinks she has silent aspirations so we had to begin thickening her liquids. We have to go back in a month to reevaluate and possibly have some test done. After months of question about her health it is so nice to finally be getting some answers. I’m so glad I found your blog
