  • Fans of both sites. Ernie loves being snuggled upright in our wrap, and let’s face it, a wrap is about the only thing that works really well for a premie. He is held close to my body, calms down immediately, and stays peaceful the entire time. Just like being inside still.

We would love a more stylish wrap.

For those afraid of the big fabric, like my husband, don’t be! Try it at home over a bed or sofa. Practice a home. take neighborhood walks, then use it everywhere! I will sometimes put my wrap on at home and leave it on during errands, while driving, etc. Then I can easily remove him from his car seat and cozy him into the wrap.

  • Already a fan of It’s a preemie thing. Now a fan of Wrapsodys.

    Tweeted it as well http://twitter.com/#!/KimberlyRags

  • I am a fan of both sites! 🙂 I found your site while looking for info on preemies.
My little man was born on January 12th at 30 weeks. He has been doing awesome and will hopefully be home sometime this week!!

  • I’m a fan of your FB page, and i just liked Wrapsody 🙂 I’ve been a fan since you posted about it on Babycenter

I have a 29 weeker, who is turning 1 next month–he spent 141 days in the NICU, and is on O2 and has a gtube. Hopefully we’re off O2 by his birthday!

  • Fan of both pages. 🙂 My preemie is now 14 1/2 months old! He was born at 25 weeks and spent 150 days in the NICU. We have had quite the year as we dealt with O2 and way too many meds, feeding issues, heart problems and seizures. He is a great little boy who is finally eating and starting to be mobile. (Not to mention off the O2 and most meds) Yay!

  • I “like” both your pages. 🙂 Our preemie has plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome)–not drastic enough for helmet therapy, especially since her hair has grown out over it, but if she ever decides to shave her head…well, it’ll be noticeable then. Most of it stems from her 4.5 months lying on her back in an isolette, but I know her time spent in her bucket carseat and papasan chair contributed, too. Our next baby is due in September (God willing, we go full-term), and I’m determined to find a great wrap for shopping/errands/chores; this baby is going to have a nice, round head!

  • I am a fan of both sites. My sister introduced me to your site. She has a 27weeker and I have preemie twin boys. This wrap looks awesome.

  • I am a fan of both pages, i found its a preemie thing through google.

My preemie was delivered at 27wks 4days after i started contracting. They had to deliver her early to prevent another uterine rupture (i had one in 2009 and my daughter was stillborn). They had to deliver my preemie Avery to save her life and my own. She was born on 10/23/10 weighing in at 2lbs 4oz and was discharged on 1/17/11 (the day before her due date) after 86days in the NICU

  • fan of both on facebook. My preemie is a year old now-she was 5lbs. 1 oz when she was born but very determined. She is very stubborn and full of energy….who would of thought someone born early would be so advanced now!

  • Hi, I’m a fan of your FB page, I originally found you through Twitter. I love wearing my son these wraps are beautiful! I have two preemie boys, my oldest is James born at 30ish weeks due to severe pre eclampsia who is now 11 and a half, he’s had more than his share of preemie complications that linger to this day. My youngest is Will who is 7 months and was born at 33 weeks due to a complete placental abruption and severe pre eclampsia.

  • Fan of both sites! My preemie twins were born at 29 weeks weighing in at 3lbs. 9oz and 2lbs 5oz. They spent 11 weeks in the NICU. I’m so happy I found It’s a preemie thing I love the onesies and all the other mom’s who are able to understand what you are going through!

  • I have become a fan of “It’s a preemie thing” and have become a fan of Wrapsody! My guy is adopted and spent a month in the NICU, was born at 2 pounds, 9 oz, and is growing like a weed!

  • Bonus – I have shared on my FB site about “It’s a preemie thing” saying that it is a great site for supporting NICU families, and has some great onesies 🙂

  • I am a proud Mom of a preemie named Samantha, She was born at 30 weeks, 3.1 lbs and now is 5 months old but still on a apnea/heart monitor, reflux issues, getting stronger and bigger every day. She was in the hospital for 6 weeks and I was in the hospital for 2 weeks.

  • I am a fan of both pages! 🙂

  • Fan of both pages!! I can not say enough about how important wrap is for your preemie. I have a 28wker who is now 9 months old. As with most preemie moms I didn’t get to have my son skin to skin with me right away. In fact it was a week when i got to hold him. Many months later when we got home and I tried on my neighbors wrap.. it brought me to tears. He and I were at ease for the first time in a long time.

  • I like both sites. My sis has a preemie.

  • Our family would love a wrapsody!!!!
My daughter was born @ 26 weeks. She overcame many obstacles and is now 5 months, 2 months adjusted. My little one would love a wrapsody, because her favorite place is near me 🙂

  • Became a fan yesterday! Now a fan of both sites 🙂

My lil 32.6 weeker baby boy is doing good… and finally fits into most newborn clothes..He is 3 months now!

  • I love, and the boys would love this! It would be great for us when one baby just needs to be held and with two of them it pretty much is all the time. At least the take turns most of the time. Well her is some info on my boys. Michael and William were born December 2, 2010 and spent three weeks in the NICU. They got to come home for Christmas on December 24th. They were struggling with breathing at first, Micheal had fluid in his lungs and they both were on antibiotics in cause it was an infection. It turned out not to be and after day two of oxygen in his little nose, Micheal decided to pull the tube off himself and prove to the NICU staff he did not need it any longer. He was right. They both ended up pulling out their feeding tube on their own too when they did not need it. They also had ABC’s to get over before they were allowed to come home. They were known by the NICU staff as the big boy preemies because they were 5 lbs, 11 oz and 5 lbs, 9 oz at birth. The nurses kept telling me “do not let their size fool you, they still have preemie brains.” They were right. The boys are 12 lbs each now and doing really well, the only problem they are having is reflux.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE wraps, we had a moby and it got so hot with carrying little man around, but being born at 32week and coming home under 4lb it was the only thing we could use to carry him around in. Would love to add this new stylish wrap and not have to use the old wrap anymore!

  • Just tweeted “Such cute Wraps!!!! Wrapsody: The Wraparound carrier Giveaway! : http://blog.itsapreemiething.com/2011/02/69wrap/

  • Love this! We have a cheaper end carrier and would love to have something comfier to carry my little preemie close!

  • I am a fan of both sites. My little girl Eva was born at 31weeks 6days, and tomorrow will be her due date and she will be 8 weeks old.
I was always told I couldnt have children and I only found out I was pregnant in October, my body was hiding her due to grieve. Eva is my little miriacle and is doing so well. Eva weighed 3lbs14.5oz and now weighs 6lbs4oz,im very proud of her.Eva managed to breath on her own straight away and started feeding by a bottle 7days after birh.
Eva loves being close against me and the wrap would be wonderful.

  • I’ve liked both pages. I cannot even express how much ****LOVE***** wearing my babies! I started wearing my older daughter when she came home from the hospital after her 3 week stay, and when I had my second preemie I started wearing her the day after my c-section! I credit babywearing with how well my girls have done. I’m hoping to start a lending library here in Southern Oregon and spreading the babywearing love! I’m building my collection slowly and this would be a great addition!!

  • I found you by searching other preemie sites. My preemie McKenzie was born at 25 weeks 6 days on Nov. 15. She now weighs 3lbs 11 oz. We are hoping to go home soon. She has excelled in every area except gaining weight and is finally on a roll there. I would love to win a wrapsody because i really need a wrap small enough for a 4 pounder when i bring her home. You can read all about her on http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/mckenziehawkins

  • * Liked both FB pages!
    * Posted on my blog and shared on FB!
    * My preemie is 8 month old Aiden. He was born 12 weeks early due to placental abrubtion. He spent 2 months in the NICU. He was also born with a cleft lip and palate. He had a partial nose/ lip repair this past November. His next surgery is scheduled for May, with another following in the Fall of this year! My litle man has been through so much and still has a LONG road ahead of him. But he is a trooper and mommy’s little hero!!

  • .
I liked them and i loveee what you do! (lol) My water broke 15 weeks early in October and I had my twin boys at 25 weeks 2 days. Tanner was natural at 4:42 am at 1 lb 11 oz, and Christian was a c-section at 10:37 pm at 1 lb 13 oz. After 17 days, we lost Christian to kidney failure. It was by far the WORST day of my life. Tanner has had four surgeries (pda before he was even 3 pounds, two laser eye surgeries, and surgery to repair two massive hernias in his groin), and we’re currently on day 123 in the NICU. He’s been on every ventilator they have, and they’re currently talking about having a trach and feeding tube put in before he’s home (but there’s pretty much no freakin way I’m letting that happen). We still have NO idea when he’s going to be home… I’m hoping within a month but I thought that two months ago.
Thank you for everything you do!

  • I’m a fan of both sites! My preemie, Jack, loves to be close to his momma. This wrap would be great!

  • My Ella loves to be held close to my hearts and my husband’s heart and a wrap like this was about the only thing that I didn’t get at my baby shower! I would love to be able to win this so I can keep her closer!!

  • I am a fan of both!
I have three preemies and one full term babe.
My baby in the NICU now was born at 33 weeks and 6/7. He did really well ready to go home 2.5 weeks later when he became ill (hours before we were going to bring him home). He has RSV and is very worn out. Still in the NICU over three weeks after he was born and will be at least another week now. 🙁 It’s so sad to see such a little guy so sick. I am sure he would love to be wrapped close to his mama when he gets home!

  • I was already a fan – and found you just by searching “preemie” on FB. I would love to win the wraparound! My water broke at just 23 weeks and I’ve been in the hospital since….53 days and counting! My baby will be delivered at 34 weeks (if I can make it that long). It’s been a long road – but I’m just thankful that I’ve been able to remain pregnant for this long. Thanks!

  • So I actually want this wrap to teach other preemie mamas to babywear in the NICU our NICU was not big on wearing so I want to be able to have a wrap to take in & show them how so they can learn & how fully enjoy babywearing with the extra little bundles of joy. PS. LO was born at 25 weeks & I tweeted about the givaways!

  • This giveaway is now closed, thank you to all who entered, and especially to Wrapsody for donating one of my FAVORITE ever items that relates to preemies. Reveiw coming soon!!
